Golden warmth overcoming the bluish cold .... Kundol Lake - Swat Valley, Pakistan

Kundol is one of the most beautiful lakes of Swat Valley. The trek starts from a village in Upper Swat Valley called Utror. Earlier, jeeps used to go till a higher village called Laddu but now bridge and jeep track is destroyed due to floods and rains so total trek time has increased from 2.5-3 hrs to 7-8 hrs till the lake. The lake is at 9,950 ft ASL.
